From TikTok to Youtube, I indulge in watching K-Beauty content and I’ve seen several articles promote products I haven’t heard or seen much of (much to my confusion). So I decided to write this article to share what beauty products I’ve actually seen trending across social media platforms. 🙂

Beginning With Toners

1. ANUA Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner

It seems this toner works for every kind of skin type there is. From oily to dry, it’s a fantastic toner that people are seeing amazing results with. In particular, it really helps with texture.

2. ANUA Heartleaf 77 Toner Pad 70 Sheets

Essentially a toner pad version of the ANUA Heartleaf Toner, but more concentrated. Many people use it as a face mask, and you can just sit in front of your TV and watch your favourite K-drama as you let the ingredients seep into your skin and smoothen rough bumps.

3. ROUND LAB Dokdo Toner

This Dokdo toner has received so many awards and was considered a bestseller in 2019. It’s worn Korean Beauty Magazine awards and was even 1st place on Korea’s top Health and Beauty store 2 years in a row in the Skin and Toner Category.

K-Beauty Serums and Essences

4. COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Power Repairing Essence

It seems no matter how many years go by, this COSRX Snail Mucin Essence seems to be a staple in every K-beauty guru’s cabinet. I literally just saw a viral TikTok about it from a girl who said her Korean friend recommended it to her and it healed her skin really well.

5. Numbuzin No. 3 Skin Softening Serum

Numbuzin is a amazing Korean Skincare brand has formulated their product line really well and this one in particular really helps to smoothen bumpy, rough, textured skin. According to clinical trials it helps to reduce appearance of pores by 30.90% in 2 weeks. It’s also very moisturizing and increases skin elasticity, no wonder it’s trending.

6. [DearKlairs] Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop

This night serum feels just like water, but it’s actually highly concentrated with 10 core ingredients which actively combats signs of aging and skin damage overnight. I was so surprised how effective it was when it barely feels like anything is going over your skin. I really love this one.

K-Beauty Moisturizers

7. COSRX Snail Mucin 92% Moisturizer

This is a light-weight gel type cream that is perfect for dry skin types. Just like the snail mucin essence, this moisturizer is just divine at reviving skin radiance and getting that glamorous glass skin we all love.

8. Dr.G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream

This is a hypoallergenic moisturizer that is particularly good for acne-prone skin. Since it has ultra fine particles it’s able to penetrate deeper into the skin than other moisturizers and really helps to soothe sensitive skin.

9. ETUDE HOUSE

This is a very soothing and hydrating moisturizer. We all know how important the skin barrier is and this specifically targets protecting our skin barrier, it’s perfect for dry, flaky or damaged skin.

K-Beauty Sunscreens

10. ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel

Non-comedogenic sunscreens are a hot topic right now and this is apparently topping the list, and we know in Korea they take their sunscreen seriously. I did try it myself though and still found it a little heavy for my oily skin. It’s great that it doesn’t have comedogenic ingredients though, so I would recommend it to you if you have dry skin.

11. Tocobo Cotton Soft Sun Stick

If you’re looking for a sunstick, look no further! This is the perfect one for oily to combination skin. Sunsticks are so great because of their convenience and as we all know we should be regularly reapplying sunscreen throughout the day when we leave the house.
